The ship Gloria comes to South Florida on its way back to Cartagena de Indias, a few days after finishing the cruise "Candles Latin America 2014", which along with 15 other vessels (sailboats and warships) visited 14 Latin American ports, starting in Itajai, Brazil, on February 11; passing Cape Horn, the farthest point of the Southern Cone; ending up in Veracruz, Mexico, on June 18.
This Three-Masted Barque Is The Official Flagship Of The Colombian Navy. It Was Authorized By The Government There In 1966 To Be Acquired As A Training Ship.
The ship made a stop at the port of Tampa this holiday weekend.
